Cowboy Cup GT is a Warhammer 40K Grand Tournament built on a simple idea: the best tournaments aren't just about who wins. Great competitive play matters, and we're building this event around a rigorous format, fair pairings, and a real fight for the top tables. But we also believe some of the best memories from a weekend like this happen away from the table entirely, over a plate of food, a drink in hand, and a conversation with someone you just met or someone you've known for years. Cowboy Cup GT is built to hold both of those things at once.

That's why we chose Rocklake Ranch, a working Texas ranch just outside College Station, instead of another hotel ballroom in another city that already sees its share of large events. We wanted a venue that felt like part of the experience, not just a room to play games in. Open space, real Texas character, and room to grow as Cowboy Cup GT becomes a destination on the competitive circuit rather than just another stop on it. This region deserves a marquee event, and we intend to build one.

The tournament itself follows a full weekend, six round matched play format, run with the structure and consistency serious competitors expect. But we haven't forgotten the hobby side of the game. Every ticket includes entry into the Display of Might painting competition, judged with real, detailed feedback through the Brush Score App, because the hours someone puts into painting their army deserve recognition just as much as the hours they put into playing it. And when the last round wraps on Saturday, the weekend doesn't end. The Barn Fire Social brings everyone back together to eat, drink, and unwind around the fire.

At the end of the day, we're here to build something more than a bracket. We want Cowboy Cup GT to be the event people talk about long after the trophies are handed out, not just for how they played, but for the friends they made and the weekend they had. Come compete.
